Dr. Peter Carey is originally from Stephenville, Newfoundland but now calls Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia home. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University in 1999 and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2003. In addition, Peter was certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2002.
In addition to owning Armdale Chiropractic in Halifax, Peter also does some consulting work with insurance companies and disability management firms. Peter has worked extensively with patients who have been in motor vehicle accidents over the past 12 years, dealing with both the treatment and independent evaluations of these individuals. Peter is also a registered provider with the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia. Over the past few years Peter has taken numerous post-graduate courses on topics such as rehab for back and neck pain, sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, workers compensation and disability management.
In his spare time, Peter and his wife Michelle can most often be found at the cheer gym or soccer field with their two daughters, Grace and Lauren.
