Layla is a recent graduate of ICT Northumberland College Massage Therapy Diploma (2018), graduating with Academic Achievement and Clinical Excellence and Professionalism awards. She is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia, as well as the Canadian Sports Massage Therapy Association, working towards her Sports Massage Therapist designation.

Completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University, Layla spent her last two years there as a Student Athletic Therapist, focusing on care and prevention of athletic injuries for the Varsity Women’s Rugby, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Hockey teams.

During her time at ICT, she had the opportunity to work with various athletic teams including professional rugby, basketball, hockey, canoe/kayak, softball, and gymnastics.

Layla is passionate about many aspects of therapy, and understands the importance of movement and well-being. She has completed Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 1 course, and looks forward to her continuing education.

Using a hands-on and holistic approach, Layla does everything she can to have her clients back doing what they love.
