Mirella Veras is a registered physiotherapist with a postdoctoral in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Montreal. With over 18 years of experience as a physiotherapist, Mirella has experience working in a hospital and clinical setting, consulting, as a professor and coordinator of health services.

Mirella has advanced level certification in pelvic health physiotherapy, including pelvic pain and ano-rectal disorders. Pelvic floor physiotherapy can help with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, constipation, post void dribbling and pre and post-natal issues. She has also taken continuing education in concussion, acupuncture, dry needling and manual therapy.

Mirella is also a certified Tai Chi instructor for diabetes, arthritis and falls prevention.

When not in the office, Mirella loves spending time with her family, going for long walks and practicing Tai Chi and Pilates. She is also the author of: Evidence-Based Tai Chi for Rehabilitation and Wellness: A System of Balance for Clinical Practice.
