What is “Craniosacral Therapy”

Craniosacral Therapy is a form of treatment addressing individual cranial bones, cranial membranes, the spinal cord dura, the cerebral spinal fluid within these structures and the sacral bone at the base of the spine. Therapists use subtle palpation to assess and treat dysfunction of the above structures as well as dysfunction or symptoms in other areas of the body. Treatment within the craniosacral ‘system’ can allow for correction of more superficial or muscular problems and creates balance and support throughout the body and other issues as outlined below.
