What Can I Expect When Seeing a Dietitian?
Nutrition is a discipline that sees best results with open communication and continuing follow-ups. Melanie offers a variety of services which can be tailored to best fit your wants and needs:
Initial Assessment: During the first visit, Melanie will sit down with you and collect a thorough history to learn about your current eating habits and lifestyle - the more she understands and knows about you, the better she can help! She will then offer feedback on your current diet, help you to set realistic goals, and provide recommendations to get you started. After this, an individualized nutrition plan will also be formed just for you.
- 60 Minute = $80
Follow Up Visits: Follow-up visits are intended to monitor your progress and provide continued motivation and support. The first will focus on discussing your individualized nutrition plan, while further visits will involve continuous monitoring, adjustments to your plan, education, resources, detailed meal planning (optional), and addressing any other concerns.
- 30 Minutes = $50
- 15 Minutes = $25
Meal Plans: Personalized for you or your family, these will outline what, when and how much to eat with recipes, nutrient breakdowns and tips for implementation. Please note that meals plans can only be provided after completing an initial assessment.
- One Day Custom Plan = $35
- Seven Day Custom Plan = $100
- One Month Custom Plan = $200
Grocery Store Tours: Let Melanie walk you through your grocery store and teach you how to make more nutritious buying decisions. This can be tailored based on what is most relevant and interesting to you, but will always include education on label reading, tips for saving money, and answers to any questions you may have!
- One Hour = $75
Presentations & Workshops: Melanie can also come speak to your team, club, group or workplace about nutrition and health. You can choose from a list of general presentation topics, or have a customized session developed based on the interests & needs of everyone. Please contact us if you’d like to further discuss these options!
