Emily completed her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2018, after completing her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in 2014.
Emily has previously worked in a multidisciplinary clinic and has experience in the assessment and treatment of a variety of patient populations. She is keen on the prevention of injury and believes that patient education is key in this pursuit. She utilizes therapeutic exercise, modalities and manual therapy to help decrease pain and optimize physical functioning and healing.
Sport and physical activity have always been a major part of Emily’s life. She grew up practicing competitive gymnastics and has since taken up the practice of long distance running. She believes that exercise is medicine and aims to instill this belief in her patients.
