Dakota Stuart

Kinesiologist | Physiotherapy Support

Dakota graduated in 2024 from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She was actively involved in supporting individuals of all ages and abilities through the S.M.I.L.E. Program, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and the Acadia Kinesiology Society. Dakota has worked with Autism Nova Scotia for several years, facilitating inclusive programming and supporting independence, social, and recreational opportunities across the lifespan. She spent the past summer working at a fully accessible camp in Maine, with a focus on nature programming and physical activity. These experiences built her passion for providing a person-directed approach through holistic health and wellness.

Outside the clinic, Dakota enjoys getting outside and being active, including going to the gym, walking, and travelling. She is committed to continuous learning and supporting the specific needs of her clients by adapting activities and promoting advocacy in her work.
