Time invested in this interactive workshop could save you from a lifetime of pelvic floor issues. This workshop contains information that every woman needs to stay healthy and to prevent and treat pelvic floor, breathing and core dysfunction during post-partum.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Learn pelvic floor dysfunction that can happen post-partum
  • Understanding the changes in your body and how to heal
  • Learn pelvic floor safe core and abdominal wall separation (diastasis recti) and how to repair it
  • Learn about pelvic floor dysfunction and “leaking,” and how to return to exercise and your daily routine in a safe way.
  • Learn how to avoid Neck/shoulder/ back pain and tension
  • Learn what to avoid during your exercises post- partum
  • Learn why diaphragmatic breathing helps stabilize and connect your abs and back muscles with your pelvic floor.
  • Learn how posture and pelvic alignment are essential for pelvic health and can help to reduce lower back pain, ab separation, pelvic pain and improve incontinence and prolapse.

You’ll leave this workshop with more body awareness, a better understanding of how to prevent and treat pelvic floor problems and how to exercise safely post partum.

Everybody is welcome to attend. This workshop is ideal for any age or stage of life whether you’re pregnant, recently postpartum or midwife, Yoga and Pilates instructor, kinesiologists and exercises professionals with interest in learning more about exercises post-partum.
