Kali joined the Coastal Sports and Wellness team November 2013 as a part-time receptionist for the clinic. Kali now works part time as our Financial Administrator. You may still see her from time to time sitting behind the desk working reception. In addition to reception and financial administration duties, Kali takes pictures and videos and edits them for the Coastal Sports and Wellness webpage and YouTube channel. Kali also works full time as a competitive and recreational gymnastics coach at Taiso Gymnastics in Lower Sackville. Kali has been involved with Taiso as a gymnast and then coach since January 2000. Kali enjoys working with children and promoting fitness and health.
Kali graduated from Saint Mary’s University in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in International Development and a minor in Political Science.
In her spare time, Kali enjoys working out, listening to live music, traveling and taking pictures. Kali’s greatest achievements have been winning the silver medal on the uneven bars at Elite Canada Gymnastics Championships in December 2003, and being awarded the IKON Nova Scotia Gymnast of the Year award the following year in May 2004. In 2013, Kali spent a semester in Uganda with her school’s exchange program studying at Uganda Martyrs University.
