Meredith is a graduate of the Dalhousie University School of Physiotherapy program, earning her degree in 2012. Prior to that, she completed a double major in Kinesiology and Nutrition at Acadia University in 2010.
With an extensive background in sports, Meredith obtained her Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy in 2018. She has also pursued additional training in Acupuncture, Dry Needling, and the Complete Concussion Management program. Furthermore, she serves on the executive council of the Sport Physiotherapy Canada Nova Scotia Division.
Meredith’s professional experience includes working with Hockey Nova Scotia’s high-performance provincial teams, Hockey Canada national training camps, IIHF World Juniors, the Halifax Rainmen, Major U15 Hockey teams, Major U18 Hockey teams, and the soccer teams at Acadia and Dalhousie Universities. She has also served as a sponsored physiotherapist at the 2017, 2019, and 2023 Canada Games. Currently, Meredith holds the position of physiotherapist with one of the National Men’s Indoor Volleyball teams.
