Nicole Lavin

• Kinesiologist 

Nicole graduated from Dalhousie in 2024, receiving her degree in Kinesiology. Her academic journey included significant involvement in the Student Athletic Trainer program, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between exercise and rehabilitation. The experience enabled her to develop specialized stretching and conditioning programs tailed to meet team needs. Through her work with varsity teams she further enhanced her communicative and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with her athletes.

Nicole’s first passion was gymnastics, where she competed for 11 years. The sport fostered a strong work ethic and lifelong dedication to physical health. Since retiring from the sport, she has coached gymnastics recreationally where she was delighted to instil her love for the sport in others. She remains active, enjoying workouts in the gym and getting outdoors whenever possible.
